I am MD Akash Sk from Charlabangola village, Murshidabad. I belong to a joint family including my elder brother, sister-in-law, younger brother and sister, my parents. My elder brother is separated and did not help financially at all. My younger brother is preparing for Engineering and sister is a student of B.Sc Nursing. My father is a seasonal farmer and a daily labour. We have a small grocery shop in our village. My dream is to be a Cardiologist and doing MD after completing MBBS. I am a 50% physically challenged person. I passed Madhyamik with a score of 85% in 2017 and Higher Secondary with a score of 91.80% from Hasnecha High School in 2021. I am studying MBBS 1st year in IPGMER, Kolkata. My father’s annual income is Rs 60000. On the flip side, my annual expenses are Rs 120000 including my books fees, tuition and college fees etc. My father has been bearing our education expenses. But now he is growing old and it is very difficult to bear our expenses. So I applied for a Mukti Scholarship to get a sponsorship. I will be very grateful if any kindman assists me to continue my studies. Fortunately I got selected by Mr. Angshu Sett and I am very thankful to him. |
