I am Souvik Gucchait, residing at Birati in Hooghly, West Bengal. There are 4 members in my family including my parents and younger brother. Father works as a farmer in other people’s land. That is the only earning source of income. My younger brother is pursuing class XI Arts stream. I passed in Madhyamik with a score of 91.2% in 2016 and Higher Secondary with a score of 92.2% from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in 2018. Currently I am pursuing a 1st year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) from Midnapore Medical College. My total education expense is 38144/ year, including my college fees, tuition fees and book expenses. Though we belong to a poor family background, my parents are very keen to continue my studies. My father managed the whole expenses of my studies, but he is now unable to bear my expenses. Hence I have applied in Mukti with hope that if I get a chance of sponsorship that will be of great help to me and also my family. Fortunately I got selected by GSCA (Garden State Cultural Association) and I am very thankful. |
