Sir, my name is Tridib Giri. I am from a small village named Kultikri, P.O - Kultikri - Aranga, P.S - Egra in the district of Purba Medinipur. There are total 3 members in my family, I, my mother and my grandfather. I lost my father during covid pandemic in the year of 2021, 2 months before my NEET exam. My mother is a housewife and my grandfather is a retired primary school teacher at the age of 87. So currently my grandfather helps me for my education and my family depends on his pension only, except that we don't have any family income. As I have year gap between my 12th (2019) and MBBS(batch 2021), I didn't get any government scholarship. So, if I get this scholarship, it will be a blessing for me and my family to carry on my studies in terms of college fees, books which are very expensive in MBBS and specially in final year ( we have 11 subjects in this year where we had 3 subjects per year till now), for taking online subscription for MD/MS entrance exams, and also to buy other practical instruments.
I am from a very rural village where the quality education has not reached yet. Also medical services is nearly nill till date. People has to travel 20 km to get a MBBS doctor. So, in my future I will try to use my knowledge and skills for the betterment of that area where I was born and also to serve humanity for better future.
