I am Rupa Khatun from Gokarna village in the district of Pura Bardhaman in West Bengal. I am living with my parents,5 elder brothers and 2 sisters .My elder brothers are separated. Currently I am pursuing MBBS 1st profession from Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital .My father is a farmer whereas my mother takes care of our family .Sometimes he does field work in another person's land. To Pursue higher studies it is very difficult for my family to manage my education expenses and household requirements. Our annual income is Rs 60000/- and my expenses of study almost Rs 76500/- including admission charges and mess rent .Though we belong to a poor family, my parents always support me in education and tries to give their best. Henceforth I applied in Mukti for sponsorship. My dream is to become a Gynecologist in future. If I get selected then I can reach my goals as well. I am selected by Mr. Rabindranath Ganguly and thanks to him for staying beside me. |
