I am Satinath Sahoo, I live in Hasimpur in the district of Paschim Medinipur. I live with my parents and elder brother as part of a nuclear family. My mother is a homemaker and my father is a farmer. I passed from J N V TCPC PO Vidyasagar University Medinipur with a 10th grade pass rate of 89.4% in 2018 and 12th grade pass rate of 90.4% in 2020. At the moment, I am a first-year Mechanical Engineering student at Jadavpur University. My overall educational costs, which include my college tuition, book costs, and hostel rent are Rs. 40,000/-. On the other side, family income is Rs. 60000/- annually. My father handles my costs through farming, which is quite challenging. Despite coming from a low-income home, my parents are highly supportive of our academic endeavors. Although my father handles all of our tuition costs, things are difficult for us right now. He can't afford to cover my bills. I thus applied at Mukti in the hopes that if I get a chance to be sponsored, it will greatly benefit me and my family.I have got selected in sponsorship and my sponsor is Prof. Pradeep Roy.I am really grateful to him. |
